Birthday E-cards: Down and Dirty

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008
by Fabian Toulouse

Who loves getting greeting cards? Everyone. Who loves sending them? Not many of us. This is where the cost of email reigns supreme. Well-wishers never need to buy stamps, paper, pens, or greeting cards - they end up saving gas, time, and money!

First it was the hype of sending emails, now its sending e-cards. E-cards are electronic greeting cards designed for any possible occasion or event. Most of them have simple animation and musical scores. Moreover, you can send a video e-card, which is a snippet of live-action or animated video designed to celebrate every occasion under the sun.

The Cartoonist Who Founded Londons Times

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008
by Rick London

Since I launched my cartoon business a decade ago, many have asked me how to get into cartooning, or some similar artistic endeavor, especially if, like me, art is not their strongest skill. Before I entered “the trade”, I too, was curious about how a number seemed to “sneak in” these so called “glamour-fields” and many were no better artists than me, and I am no Picasso.

Yves St. Laurent, also not an artist, never drew one of his designs and was the only major designer not to do so, yet remains a household word even after retirement. Walt Disney was a fair artist but knew others were better so farmed that out. Disney was also so broke when he conceived his Magic Kingdom idea, he couldn’t even afford art supplies, but he could afford paper clips and “molded Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the gang out of them.

Societal Issues: Killer Cows

Friday, September 5th, 2008
by Rick London

My name is Truman Cowpoke and I write mooooder mysteries. I write about the life of cows, violence, and yes, even bovine death. Words cannot express the horror I feel, as a mystery writer of true cow crime while researching the death and destruction that can occur in “greener pastures”. Of course there are no cowincidences and anyone who says there are may just be full of bull, surely udderly ridiculous.

Maybe I’ll one day write about the moohem and destruction of this beast, and do no justice. Even the late great author of “Being There” and “Painted Bird”, Jersey Cowzinsky or pop diva Bovinna, who sang and performed Mooterial Girl so beautifully, could feel my emotions regarding violence in the bovine cowmunnity. I don’t even think The Boss, Bruce Holstein could (even though he was “BORN IN THE USDA”) But cows are just farm animals. Not a lot of justice in such cowmmunities; unlike, say Bambi and other artistic animals. The Deer Artist, oh starry starry night, Venison Van Doe, may have stroked it with a brush, he probably never even noticed a cow. Oh, the shame.

How Bad Do We Need To Laugh

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008
by Rick London

Must we really laugh to be healthy?? How important is humor in our lives? For many years, we knew humor was fun, and laughter made us feel better, but we didn’t know the full story. Recent studies at University Of Md. Medical School point towards laughter being not just important, but pertinent to our physical well being in the home and workplace, not to mention social arena.

Similarly to swimming or taking a long walk, laughter produces very similar endorphins that help preserve our immune system. More studies have shown that it even increases brain function which may even serve to increase IQ capabilities. As if all this were not enough, it is a true natural anxiety reliever. A lot of people in the world take life very seriously. If that is their coping mechanism, but has been known to cut life short.

Increase The Quality Of Life Of Your Dog Or Cat 100-Fold

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008
by Rick London

Our babies with fur (dogs and cats) can’t afford attorneys so we have to be theirs. Much has been written about the B.A.R.F. diet , but still very little studies behind it. I happen to know it works as I almost had my 12 year old stray mutt put to sleep in 1996, at age twelve, at the vet’s suggestion, but decided to research a bit more myself before making such an important decision. He lived another 10 years and finally passed last November at age twenty-two, vet-free, except to the very part of his life when his heart was failing. He died smiling at home, in my arms.

The only difference in his “lifestyle” was diet, I decided as a last resort to switch him from “highest grade pet food” to “raw meaty bonds, fruits, and veggies. I bought a very good processor. Got raw burger, lamb, turkey and such. I purchased kinds of raw meat on the bone, even chicken (only organic due to all the chemical processing). The chicken bone/dog murder is one of the biggest pet myths out there. More dogs and cats choke on kibble daily and no reported case of one choking on *any* raw bone. But I was still skeptical the first month, as he was weak and the toxins from processed foods were leaving his organs. It looked like touch and go. It turned out to be a miracle.

We Are Our Dog And Cat’s Attorneys

Since our pets cannot afford lawyers so we have to be their advocates. Much has been discussed regarding the B.A.R.F. diet for pets, but still very little research behind it. I happen to know it works as I almost had my 12 year old stray mutt put to sleep in 1996, at age 12, at the veterinarian’s suggestion, but decided to research a bit more myself before making such an important decision. He lived another 10 years (to age 22), vet-free, except to the very part of his happy life. He was an amazing creature, and the b.a.r.f. diet, and a lot of love and attention provided for that.

The only difference in Thor’s treatment was his food, the new B.A.R.F. diet. I decided as a last resort to switch him from “highest grade pet food” to “raw meaty bonds, fruits, and veggies. I bought a very good processor. Got raw burger, lamb, turkey and such. I purchased kinds of raw meat on the bone, even chicken (only organic due to all the chemical processing). Finding Good Interior Design Ideas

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008
by Clinton Maxwell

Many people think that interior design is a very complicated and difficult project and it’s not possible for them to do it by themselves. That’s why so many people pay a so called professional a lot of money to come and help them out.

You do not need a professional to help you at all, you can get lots of ideas from everywhere. All you need to do is spend some time working out how you should incorporate the ideas and make them work in your own home. It’s important to spend time coordinating everything so that it all ties together nicely.
