After the Rehearsal: Fuller returned to film making after a long hiatus with this lucid, autobiographical account of a particular infantry battalion and its courageous sergeant throughout WW2. Difficult to trust one film might bundle so much into its narrative, an opulent, moving, practical, and poetic film. Carradine depicts and plays Fuller’s doppelganger, complete with cigar. Cast includes Erland Josephson, Ingrid Thulin, Lena Olin, Nadja PaJrnstjema-Weiss, and Bertil Guve. (112 minutes, 1984)
The Deep End of the Sea: Persuasively performed adaptation of Jacquelyn Mitchard’s best seller in reference to the disappearance of a 3 year old at his mommy’s high school reunion, and his possible return 9 years later. This 2 part tale is admittedly a whopper, yet it’s addressed in believable style that makes one able to acknowledge it. Cast includes Michelle pfeiffer, Treat Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Jonathan Jackson, Ryan Merriman, John Kapelos, and Michael Mcelroy. (109 minutes, 1999)
B.O.R.N.: Somebody is abducting youngsters from the roads of L.A. to cut up as organ donors. Cast includes Danny Aiello, Edoardo Ballerini, Vivian Wu, Mike McGlone, Kirk Acevedo, John Corbett, Sandra Bernhard, Summer Phoenix, Polly Draper, Mark Margolis, and Ajay Naidu. (100 minutes, 2001)
No End in Sight: Masterful monitor tantamount of the plethora novels that share on-the-record accounts from prior armed forces/protocol competitors to clarify how the Bush management jumped before it looked in 2003 before invading Iraq. The Eiger Sanction: Pseudo James Bond misfire, often accidentally ludicrous. Exhilarating mountain climbing scenes don’t make up for films numerous defects and ungodly magnitude. Jack Cassidy as gay, dangerous snoop gives the only artistic performing. Cast includes Clint Eastwood, George Kennedy, Vonetta McGee, Jack Cassidy, Thayer David, Heidi Bruhl, Reiner Schoene, and Brenda Venus. (128 minutes, 1975)
