While there are clear benefits to being a mobile professional, one of the biggest burdens is attending to paperwork. Sure, the smart phone might have provided some relief in this arena recently, especially since it allows you to answer calls, check voicemail, and receive e-mail while on the go, but what else is there?
What about receiving and reviewing faxes? And calls that the mobile professional cannot answer while they are engaged in a client meeting or appointment. Smart phones provide an excellent range of services, but without the proper back-end software, they still leave a great deal on the table. How much business opportunities get missed by the mobile professional who cannot receive and review faxes in a timely manner?
