People’s preoccupation with anti-ageing skin car products that claim to make you look younger, is not surprising when most of us can expect to live longer and have fuller more active lives. This group of products generally work by enabling the synthesis of collagen, which is the main protein of connective tissue in animals and the most abundant protein in mammals. The protein, Collagen, is related to groups of other Substances named Anti-Oxidants which assist in helping the anti-ageing process.

Although the benefits of vitamin C (an anti-oxidant) are well documented, it is still debated as to what our daily amount should be. Skin care treatments that are based on vitamin C, pose the problem of becoming oxidized themselves as they come into contact with air during their usage.

How To Find Flattering Hairstyles And Hair Colors For Women

Friday, November 14th, 2008
by Chris Channing

A females hair is what everything seems to be based off. Lustrous hair represents a confident woman that cares about her appearance, while shabby hair does not. There are plenty of hairstyles that are both flattering and accentuating to different face shapes, and likes. It may be difficult to find the perfect hairstyle, but it is not entirely impossible.

Your face shape and skin tone are very important for your hairstyle choice. A hairstyle that doesn’t work well with your face shape could end in a very unflattering style. Same for hair coloring, if it doesn’t match your base skin tone then it may look too harsh or blunt against your skin.

If the truth be told, no-one wants to look old so it is not surprising that one of the largest markets in the world of health and beauty is anti-ageing skin care products. The anti-ageing skin care industry uses products that increase the synthesis of the protein collagen, the main protein in skin which becomes less elastic as we age. Collagen is related to other Substances called anti-oxidants which help reduce the anti-ageing process.

Although the benefits of vitamin C (an anti-oxidant) are well documented, it is still debated as to what our daily amount should be. Skin care treatments that are based on vitamin C, pose the problem of becoming oxidized themselves as they come into contact with air during their usage.

What Is Lipo Disolve All About

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008
by Charles Donavon

With some 90% of women in the United States having some degree of cellulite on their body it’s no wonder they want to get rid of it. Exercise and eating right can be done properly and the unsightly bumps can still never seem to go away. There is one newer solution to this problem. It is a new treatment called Lipodisolve and it is a great alternative to liposuction. The drug that makkes up the lipodisolve injection is called phosphatidyclcholine. It is injected into the fatty areas and helps to break down fat deposits and can help to eliminate that unwanted cellulite.

Topicals creams are probably one of the easiest methods that people can use to try and get rid of cellulite. There seems to be a problem with this though because they really don’t work. The skin is to tough and thick to allow the creams to penetrate deep enough to actually have any affect. This is where lipo disovle comes into play. It is designed to be injected directly into the problem areas and it starts working to break down the fat. The body then naturally expells the fat from the body although more research needs to be conducted here to verify this.

The basic supplies you will need to complete a latch hook weave are the latch hook needle and extension hair. There are many reputable dealers of high-quality human and synthetic hair, so make sure you do your research before making a purchase (especially if you’re buying online). You can get the latch hook needle at your local beauty supply store or craft store.

by Marquetta Breslin

On the cutting edge of styling, skin weft weaves are a great way to transform your hair. This beautiful weave is virtually undetectable when completed correctly. Unlike other weaving methods, a skin weft weave can be completed over a very short amount of time.

A skin weft weave is completed in the same way as any other bonded weave, but with one major difference. In a regular bonded weave, the weft is attached to the client’s scalp. In a skin weft weave, a track is applied to the root of the hair.

by Zoe Sharon

Mineral makeup are beauty products, such as foundations, blushes, eye liners, lipsticks, mascara and other cosmetics which are made from 100% finely ground minerals from the Earth and does not contain the usual chemicals that can irritate or harm the skin. These mineral cosmetics are talc and dye free, and contain no fragrance, silicones, mica, rice powders, oils, wax and fillers. It is because of this that mineral makeup is gaining a widespread popularity from the makeup industry; especially with the fact that they have been shown to improve skin health and contains no ingredients that are harsh to the skin.

The more well-known and reputable companies in the makeup industry are Bare Essentials and Bare Minerals, which are with the company Bare Escentuals. They have a considerable share in advertisement airtime on many television and home shopping stations. The cosmetic products they offer in the market contain no binders or fillers and appear incredibly weightless. Makeup products coming from these reputable companies offer quality products and stay loyal to their concept of giving women safe and natural cosmetics.
