The ancient art of crystal healing
At its core, crystal healing is a form of mysticism, witchcraft, and occult practices. Most crystal healing is guided to the healer by Spirit - who will tell the healer which crystals will be most effective and the patterns the crystals should be placed on or around the person’s body. The length of time used with the crystals will vary with each patient and healer.
Crystal healing is satisfying for many people as they can participant either actively or in a passive manner - whatever is appropriate to their healing. Sometimes, the crystals do all the work.
Gemstones are used by some crystal healers in colour crystal healing treatments because they are pure in colour and are unmixed and unadulterated in effects.
The argument for crystal healing is based on the idea that everything has a vibration, and as such, the human body responds to these subtle vibrations. This idea extends even further than just the body.
Just like any other alternative therapy, crystal healing is said to have positive effects only on people who have strong faith or confidence in the basic principles or concepts of crystal healing. Crystal healing is thus not a medical therapy, which means that the therapy does not actually function on the basis of any stringent medical practices and scientific laws.
By using the appropriate crystals one can allegedly “tune” an energy system or rebalance energies, thus improving well-being due to the vibrations produced by the crystals, according to color, chemical composition, atomic structure and overall physical form. This vibration is at too high a frequency for us to experience on the physical plane but we pick up the vibrations on other levels; emotional, mental or spiritual.
