Western Wedding Reception

by Jules Barlie

It is a beautiful as well as a surprising bonanza when you go to a western wedding. Fashionable western designs and decoration were specially brought for the out of the ordinary time by the bride and groom. I went with the notion that there will be a lot of confusion as it did like a casual affair but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

One could make out from the invitations sent out by the couple that it will be a western wedding. It was a well designed invitation with a cowboy hat and also a bunch of flowers as the main part. There was a very eye-catching note on the left of the pretty image which was sitting on the top of a stack of hay.

The notes were personally written for the guests informing that they were getting hitched which suggested that it is going to be on a western wedding theme. There were other details also on the invitation sent by them. It was a very casual but the way it has been attractively designed that it made up for the informal approach of the invitation note.

The maid of honor had chosen a very fitting gift for the guests at the bridal shower. It was a well crafted brilliant little interesting box pendant and earring set in a cowboy hat. All the boxes were made like a hat which when opened showed a pendant necklace or earrings. The maid of honor was very pleased with her choice and the best part was it did not even cost too much. They were beautiful mementos for a western wedding and would be cherished by all.

Even the way the Wine was given to the bride and groom was very different. On bridal table you could see cowboy wine holder. There was a horseshoe stuck to the bottom of the wine holder and you could see a cowboy made of the horseshoes also. The four wine glasses were placed in the cowboy’s metal hands, and all of them were decorated with running horses. The legs of the cowboy were holding the wine. It was such an apt piece for a western wedding subject.

Perhaps the most breathtaking element in the western wedding was the bride’s magnificent gown. This dress had a small train and was covered in delicate lace and pearls. It was in no way a ballroom gown but it emanated beauty. The bride peered from beneath a tastefully decorated cowgirl hat adorned with a light veil. She was the crowning touch to the western wedding.
