If you are interested in the history of salt production then you should check out the museum of sea and salt.
The natural park of the lagoons of the Malta has some very nice natural salt baths. These are very relaxing and comfortable. They also offer a number of health benefits. They are thought to be very helpful to treat skin conditions and arthritis. The park also has a wide selection of beautiful fauna and flora. There are a number of rare exotic birds in this area.
Torrevieja is home to one of the largest open air markets in the whole of Spain. You can find this market near to the bus station. This market has a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables every Friday. There is a craft market which you might also be interested in. The craft market can be found close to the harbor, and you can find jewelry, leather goods and carvings in this area.
Golf lovers will also love this area. There are lots of golf courses in this area, the most popular being the Torrevieja Golf Club. The fees are between 35 and 80 Euros per game, of course the price that you pay will depend on the course you decide to play on and the season.
